Privacy Policy
Apex is a local-first workout tracking app. Your workout logs, exercises, sets, reps, weights, timers, notes and custom programs are stored locally on your device. Apex does not operate a server that stores your personal workout history.
Device backup systems, such as iCloud or Android backup, may handle local app data according to the settings of your device and platform account.
Data And Third-Party Services
- Workout data: stored locally for app functionality. You can delete local Apex data from the in-app Settings screen.
- RevenueCat, Apple App Store and Google Play: used to manage subscriptions, purchases, entitlements and restore purchases.
- Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform: used to display ads in the free version, manage consent, limit fraud and measure ad performance. Free users can review or change advertising privacy choices from the in-app Settings screen.
- Notifications: used for rest timer reminders. Apex requests notification permission only when timer alerts are needed.
Ads And Consent
Apex may show banner or interstitial ads to free users. Apex Pro removes ads. Where required, Apex uses Google's consent tools before requesting ads and provides a Settings control to reopen advertising privacy choices.
Advertising partners may process device identifiers, approximate technical data, ad interactions and consent choices according to the consent options selected by the user.
Exercise Media And Credits
- Exercise demonstration media is bundled locally in Apex for offline use. The app does not send workout data to fetch exercise demos during a session.
- Exercise reference data and demo sourcing are based on ExerciseDB resources. Learn more at exercisedb.dev.

iOS
By downloading or using Apex on iOS, you agree to the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a separate agreement is provided by Apple. You can review the standard Apple EULA here: Apple Standard EULA.
Android
By installing Apex on Android, you receive a revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial workout tracking.
Apex Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the App Store or Google Play subscription settings before the end of the current billing period.
